Sunday Trader Joe's inspired dinner

Dinner yesterday was inspired by a trip to the Trader Joe's (TJs) on Beacon street in Boston, as part of the taking back DD#2 trip to Boston.

I couldn't resist stocking up on more TJ vino, even though I still had 3 bottles remaining from the last huge shop.

Darien Rioja tempranillo Spain 2010. $5.99 but tastes more like $9.99

A lively sharp little wine with an interesting after taste. Would buy this one again.

 

served with roasted baby zucchini, blanched winter greens, baked mahi mahi all from TJs and white bean hummus made from white beans I had in the freezer inspired from the white bean hummus in the TJs deli counter. The tomato and cilantro in the hummus came from my favourite local Indian grocery strore. A flavourful easy sunday evening dinner! Bon Apetite.
