What an Amazing Birthday I had to Begin my 50th Year in Style

It started with the delivery of beautiful Irises from my DDs

 Surprises from my wonderful colleagues, some of which I confused with the "beginning my 50th year" concept, inside this package was a painting that had been passed around the department for the last 20 years! Now I am the lucky recipient.

and then these beautiful flowers delivered at work from a dear friend. then it was off to Happy hour or two to my favourite new place in Mystic, The Oyster Club,
and then dancing at the Knickerbocker cafe
