Seed starting

Spring came early this year to Stonington and the urge to be outside was strong and there's nothing like starting seeds and dreaming about all the summer bounty to come! So last sunday was the day for making soil blocks, this is the way to go.  Dropping seeds in the dimples, placing the trays in the sun room and looking forward to the germination.

some seeds needed soaking over night, don't the bark labels look great?

A week later it is chilly but there has been sprouting....

I can't wait to get some seeds planted. I like your little tool for making the soil blocks...I think they have some at Lee Valley up here, so I'll get one on the weekend.
