Wood splitting at Varykino

It was quite the team effort on Monday as Mark and Izzy arrived with the wood splitter., Mark warned that it would come out of the truck like a rocket and it did. Exciting goings on at the bottom of the driveway.

We made sho work of all these piles of logs, the eyesore will no longer be greeting me when I come home everyday

the kicker is that it has been a really warm week and no fire needed

Izzy kept the wheelbarrow and I did a lot of stacking, it was great to be outside enjoying the fresh air and now there is this beautiful stack of wood, probably enough for next winter.
