A sweater for a new baby

My yarn stash is very limited when it comes to colours suitable for babies.

I have the following that may work for a baby boy born earlier this week..


a cotton multi-coloured DK blend

 

                                          a wool bluesh green sock weight blend,  a wool silk teals sport weight blend, the Berroco Sox is much brighter than the venezia sport yarn.

a couple of wool silk Taiyo sock yarns, in a bright greenish with some fun colours thrown in and a more subdued earthen tones.

I'll probably use the Elizabeth Zimmerman Baby Surprise Jacket pattern again.

This one was knitted in Taiyo Sock, but more suitable for a baby girl.

Hmmmm what yarn to pick, I'm open to suggestions.......
