At last a WHIMM in the form of a basket of old jeans, pinafores and dungarees has become a WIP and Ana wants to make a denim picnic/beach quilt. So first there was deconstruction in the spring sunshine.
and then cutting into strips and figuring out how to do string piecing using telephone book paper, once we made a couple, Ana designed and I sewed, we got into a rythmn and in no time had 13 quarter blocks.
so now the hunt for interesting denim begins....
