Orca Bay Update

It was Thanksgiving and there was food preparation
Marty precisely peeling and cutting the butternut squash which I roasted in cubes tossed with herbs de Provence, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

sewing

3.5 inch blue string blocks......I had a whole basket of strings at the ready and the upcycled shirts are coming in handy also the ones from my exchanges, making for a large variety.

cutting and ironing ongoing on at my house.

string blocks shaping up and growing

parsnips soaking prior to roasting.

spinach dip in a yummy sour dough bread roll for munching (thanks Ellen)

here are the first little string blocks

and the growing stack of hour glass blocks

I would say that fun was had by all and the TWO turkeys on the barbie came out well, it muct have been the brining and the expert planning. It was a wonderful Thanksgiving break.

you are getting way too much sewing done Petra. I feel like I have nothing done now looking at all you've ready.
