Merry Merry Christmas

Tis the season, to slow down, spend time with family and friends. A lot of my family is far away but close in my heart. This is the card made by my parents who are in the Czech Republic. I sent my mum a package of Christmas fat quarters earlier in the year and she put them to beautiful use and that is my daddy's perfect penmanship.

this is the very lame peanut ornament I made at a very gourmet party and that is DD#2 on the right when she was a little girl. Some of the peanut creations were very impressive

This fairy arrived from a dear friend in Switzerland, dekuje Jiindrisko.

DD#1 made this reindeer out of corks, much better than the peanut thing.

Today was my first day off work, I am getting into the spirit. It was an incredibly balmy day and I took care of some leaf removal and lawn mowing, yes mowing the lawn in December, it must be global warming. Am really enjoying  time with my DDs AND Bonnie posted this week's clue a day early so this evening has been spent on "extreme quilting" progress update soon.

Merry Christmas to all.
