Getting ready for a Gwen Marston Liberated Workshop

I signed up for a day and half workshop with Gwen on the 20th and 21st April and decided to work with solids, inspired by this painting at my friend's house.

I ordered about 20 different half yard cuts of kona cottons from the fabric depot, all went well except that papaya was mixed up with paprika, hopefully I'll get that resolved. I washed them all and dried them in spring sunshine on the line so they smell delightful. Now to get my featherweight working before the workshop and then my parents arrive from the Czech Republic.
