KORT Knitting

You know how one thing leads to another and a little idea can get some momentum and grow? Well that's how Knit One Roast Too came about.....I have friends that roast coffee beans, friends that knit, a trendy winter farmer's market and we managed to talk the market organizer into letting us have a table. Our debut will be Saturday December 7th. There has been frantic knitting going on since we found out the date.
I've finished this little Baby Surprise Jacket (BSJ) in taiyo sock yarn together with crochet buttons. The buttons have been sewn on since this photo was taken.  A bigger BSJ is almost complete in the worsted and colourful taiyo. I'm using the icord bind off for a nicer finish.  Sleeves are sewn up now but still have to determine buttons. My product manager says I have to make a little dress in taiyo sock yarn since the market manager is expecting baby clothes from us!
The push for  last week was neck warmers and head bands.
This beautiful wool from Manos de Uruguay is looking good in linen stitch. This Grey yarn from Peru has been knitted into a cozy double berry twist cowl.

and this painted Debbie Bliss DK is now a wingspan/dragon's tail scarf.......I've got lots of ends to weave in, washing and blocking and labeling...Saturday is fast approaching
